Toasted Muesli Trail Mix

Beyond enjoying in the great outdoors, this trail mix is the perfect snack anytime, anywhere. I’m an avid runner and just a handful of this trail mix gives me a boost for those arduous uphill climbs!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup
  • OR
  • 1 cup
  • 1 cup whole almonds
  • 1 cup shelled pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. In a large bowl combine the muesli, almonds, pumpkin seeds and salt. Spread in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

2. Bake the muesli mixture about 10 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from the oven. Cool completely. Mix in the raisins and chocolate chips. Store at room temperature in an airtight container.
