This pie showcases a pineapple-topped, cream-cheese-and-gelatin filling poured into a crumb crust.

1. In medium mixing bowl, combine KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal, sugar and
margarine. Press mixture evenly and firmly in bottom and on side of 8-inch pie pan
to form crust. Chill.
2. Drain pineapple chunks, reserving syrup. Chill pineapple. Add water to syrup
to measure 1 cup. Place in 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Remove from
heat and mix in gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Gradually stir 1/2 of hot gelatin
mixture into cream cheese. Beat until smooth. Pour into chilled crust. Refrigerate
pie until set. Let remaining gelatin set at room temperature.
4. Arrange pineapple on top of pie. Spoon remaining gelatin over pineapple. Chill
until firm. Serve with whipped topping, if desired.
