Juicy tomatoes layered between seasoned cracker crumbs.
Drain juice from can of tomatoes; set aside. Place a layer of tomatoes in
bottom of buttered baking dish. Season with salt, a little sugar and butter
and cover with cracker crumbs. Place another layer of tomatoes and continue
until dish is full, having cracker crumbs on top. The onion or onion juice may
be added to each layer is desired. Finally, add juice of tomatoes, cover dish
and bake 30 minutes in 350°F oven.
