Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Pineapple Coffeecake

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Kellogg's Frosted Flakes® cereal
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 package (1-layer size) yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut

Directions:

1. Crush cereal to 3/4 cup. Mix in butter; set aside.

2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, adding spices. Spread
batter evenly in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle pineapple and
coconut evenly over batter. Top with cereal mixture, pressing gently into
batter.

3. Bake in 350° F oven about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm.
