Honey Graham Nut Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons orange juice

Directions:

1. In large mixing bowl combine graham crumbs, flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt.

2. In small bowl combine egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Add to graham mixture. Stir until just combined. Stir in nuts.

3. Spread batter in 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350°F for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely.

4. In small bowl stir together powdered sugar and enough orange juice to make of drizzling consistency. Drizzle over loaf.
