Deep Dish Peach Pie
Walnuts and a crispy cereal topping turn sweet peaches into a home style dessert.

Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups canned, sliced peaches
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes® cereal Buy Now
- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Drain peaches, reservinga 3/4 cup of the syrup. Arrange peaches in 8-inch pie
pan or shallow baking pan coated with cooking spray. Set aside.
2. In 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, salt and flour. Stir in peach syrup, mixing
until smooth. Cook over medium heat, until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove
from heat. Stir in lemon juice and margarine.
3. Mix
4. Sprinkle walnuts over peaches. Pour warm syrup over peaches
and sprinkle with cereal topping.
5. Bake at 350° F about 30 minutes or until hot. Serve warm with cream, if desired.
