Crunch 'N Cream Pie

Cereal, walnuts and coconut sweetened with brown sugar turn ordinary ice cream into an extraordinary dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes® cereal Buy Now
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

Directions:

1. Measure margarine and sugar into mixing bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add
KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal, nuts and coconut. Mix well.

2. With back of spoon, press and arrange 2/3 of cereal mixture evenly in bottom
and side of ungreased 9-inch pie pan to form crust.

3. Spread ice cream evenly in pie crust. Sprinkle with remaining cereal
mixture, pressing lightly into ice cream. Freeze until firm. Serve frozen.
