Chock full of crunchy cereal, crisp melba rounds and southern pecans, this snack is a favorite of party goers.

  • 6 cups Kellogg's® Crispix® cereal Buy Now
  • 1 cup melba toast rounds
  • 1 cup pecan halves or mixed nuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons barbeque sauce or hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


1. In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, melba rounds and pecans. Set aside.

2. Stir together remaining ingredients. Drizzle over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.

3. Bake at 250°F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.

Dry roasted mixed nuts can be substituted for regular mixed nuts. Light butter or reduced calorie margarine can be substituted for regular butter or margarine.
