Creamy Apricot Pie

1. Place cereal and margarine in food processor bowl or electric blender container. Process until cereal is broken into fine crumbs and margarine is thoroughly mixed. Press mixture evenly and firmly in bottom and on sides of 9-inch pie pan.
2. Bake in 350°F oven about 5 minutes or until crust starts to brown. Cool completely.
3. Into liquid measuring cup, drain apricots. add water to liquid to measure 3/4 cup. Heat mixture until boiling. Dissolve gelatin in hot liquid. Puree apricots and add to gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until slightly thickened.
4. Prepare powdered whipped topping mix according to package directions, using milk and omitting vanilla. Fold into slightly thickened gelatin mixture. Pour into cooled cereal crust. refrigerate until set, about 2 hours. Serve garnished with additional topping, if desired.
