Cracker Coated Fish Fillets

Parmesan cheese and tasty cracker crumbs give these white fish fillets a crisp coating and family-pleasing flavor.

  • 4 5-ounce fresh or frozen tilapia fillets
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Keebler® Town House® Original crackers Buy Now
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 teaspoons vegetable oil


1. Thaw fish, if frozen. In shallow dish combine flour and pepper. In another shallow dish combine egg and milk. In third shallow dish combine cracker crumbs and cheese.

2. Roll fish in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip into egg mixture. Coat with crumb mixture.

3. In 12-inch nonstick frypan cook fish in hot oil over medium heat for 7 to 12 minutes or until fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork, turning once. For food safety, the internal temperature of the fish should be a minimum of 145ºF.
