Chicken Italienne

Basil- and oregano-enhanced tomato sauce lends an Italian flair to this crispy-coated, baked chicken.

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 pounds chicken pieces (with or without skin), rinsed and dried
  • 5 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes® cereal Buy Now


1. Combine tomato sauce and seasonings. Dip chicken pieces into tomato
sauce mixture and coat with KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal. Place in
single layer, skin side up, in shallow pan coated with cooking spray or foil-lined.
Do not crowd.

2. Bake at 350° F about 1 hour or until chicken is tender, no longer pink
and juices run clear. Do not cover pan or turn chicken while baking. Serve
