Beef 'N Bean Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can (1 lb.) pork and beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded American cheese

Directions:

1. Measure first 6 ingredients into large mixing bowl. Beat well. Add ground beef. Mix until combined. Shape into 6 patties.
2. Brown patties on both sides in large frypan over medium heat. Drain off excess drippings. Add soup, pork and beans, and chili powder. Stir gently to combine. Cover. Cook over low heat about 30 minutes or until patties are thoroughly cooked or until done (160 degrees F), stirring carefully once or twice. Remove cover. Sprinkle
with cheese. Cook 1 to 2 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Serve in individual bowls.
