Kellogg Company has a longstanding history of investing in communities. Recently the company unveiled an exciting new initiative called Breakfast for Better Days™. Through this global hunger-relief program, Kellogg Company and Kellogg’s Corporate Citizenship Fund will donate more than 1 billion servings of cereal and snacks to help children and families in need around the world by the end of 2016. Breakfast for Better Days™ partners include Action for Healthy Kids, Feeding America, the Food Research and Action Center, Share Our Strength, and United Way.

Kellogg Company has also partnered with the Keebler brand to support the American Red Cross. Through the “Be a Good Cookie” campaign, Keebler donates 6 million cookies each year for the American Red Cross to share with blood donors.

Campaign to End Childhood Hunger

FRAC’s Campaign to End Childhood Hunger works with schools, nonprofit partners and national, state and local agencies across the country to provide U.S. children with the nutrition they need to be healthy, to learn, and to grow into productive adults who fulfill their potential has developed innovative strategies, including serving breakfast in the classroom at the first bell. Breakfast in the Classroom greatly increases the number of children who eat a healthy breakfast at school – improving nutritional intake, discipline and educational outcomes. The program also helps reduce hunger and visits to the school nurse. More and more school districts are looking to this strategy, and Kellogg’s Corporate Citizenship Fund is helping to expand this proven program.
